Hello beautifuls! Yesterday Josh and I got together with his cousin and his girlfriend to get into the holiday spirit! We. decorate Christmas cookies and made Gingerbread houses! It was so much fun! We all wore Christmas sweaters too! (details below). You could definitely do this with your girlfriends too! Have a Christmas PJ slumber party!
Holiday Sweaters:
Walmart and TJ max have greta sweater options for the holidays! I linked mine down below! I wear a small in holiday sweaters, but if you want a more over sized look I would size up one!
Our sirens got there sweaters from TJMax! They run true to size!
Linked a few from both Walmart and TJMax
Thing you need:
- Good Christmas Music
- Christmas Pj’s
- Christmas Sweaters (linked below!
- Cookies Decorating Materials! (Will link things below)
- Ginger bread house kit (linked here)
- Christmas Movies on in the background
- a Kitchen (lol)
- Hot Coco
First off We did not make gluten or dairy free cookies we just didn’t have enough time! I will link the mix I normally use here! . For the other types of cookies we used all pre-made cookie dough! The first batch we made we burned! OPPS! but the sugar cookies turned out great!
Holiday Sugar cookies:
- Pilsbury Sugar cookie dough roll ! Linked HERE
- Flour
- Rolling Pin
- Cookies Cutters
- Vanilla frosting
- Decorations
We then just rolled the cookie dough into a clump and rolled it out. You want to make sure its cold and firm otherwise the cookies will fall apart. Then we used to cookies cutters and cooked them for the amount of time it said on the package!
I would recommend using the package of mix instead of the roll. Ours did expand a lot but we were still able to decorate a few of them!
On the other hand our gingerbread house turned out so cute! I liked the one I got here! . Only $9 at Walmart! If you follow the instructions on the back its super easy! I also recommend getting other decorations! Sprinkles, icing, gum drops, candy canes etc. We got all of our stuff from the Walmart baking and Holiday section!
We had so much fun getting into the holiday spirit! If you make your own Gingerbread houses please share pictures with me! Would love to see them! don’t forget to Subscribe to the blog to stay up to date on all my latest post!
XOXO
Totally Tori!
